The transition from present to past was rough.  I guess the formatting is not the greatest.  But something like asterisks would help.  It took me a few lines to make the transition.

it was supposed to be, I think, because at this point of the story its all mixed and that's how are memories are at certain times, stepping in and out, not knowing quite sure, because in this last bit of the story there is a sort of confusion and instability about where the characters are, hence where you are
